This Abrams Tank is an absolute must! As opposed to what the manual says you can go for about an hour and a half on one battery instead of just 15 minutes! My kids and I had a lot of fun with it this past weekend. The tank is also a lot more detailed than the pictures on the website would suggest. So it was definitely worth the money.
There are a few minor things I want to mention in hopes of Monstercars doing something with it:
A second battery is a must, so get one straight away. And putting the battery in the tank is a bit of a hassle, make sure you have a good small screwdriver ready. Charging the battery takes about 4 hours and according to the manual you have to let it drain completely before charging it. Draining it is kind of boring - with an almost empty battery you can only turn the turret. But I suppose you should just accept that because the batteries are quite expensive. I think the tank page should show you what other things you need with it.
I also hope that there are metal wheels available. The (plastic) tracks look good but are obviously going to break eventually. When driving around the garden the track keeps slipping because of the grass, so unfortunately we had to give up driving there. Indoors this tank is phenomenal, can even climb small steps, unbelievable.
As for Monstercars: I missed some information. For example I didn't know what the ammo was (it's little plastic rockets that come with the tank for other people who are curious). Because I had no idea I ordered extra ammo which turned out to be completely unnecessary.
Because of this missing info I had to wait longer for my product because I had to ask Monstercars first. With more info on the page I would have avoided the extra hassle and expenditure.
We're RC fanatics so me and the kids will definitely order from here again, so I hope the service and information is even better then :-)
All in all, a great tank, I hope this review can convince others to buy the tank. It's definitely worth it.
